Solid hardwood is one piece of wood and can be refinished many times. Engineered hardwood is a real hardwood top layer bonded to a plywood core: more stable in humidity swings, but with fewer refinishes possible over its lifetime.
Yes — using engineered products with the right adhesive and a proper moisture barrier. We check subfloor conditions during the estimate before committing.
It depends on square footage and complexity. A typical mid-sized residential install spans several days including baseboards and trim. Your project timeline is confirmed in writing before we start.
